Regenesis UofT, Dig In! Campus Agriculture and the City of Toronto present this Gardening Class Series with Alfredo Correa. Alfredo works in Community Development, Parks, Forestry & Recreation at the City of Toronto. Each class will be Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm in either RW 142 or RW 140 at 25 Harbord St. and will cover different topics as per below: 

January 17, RW 142: SOIL 
texture, chemical, test, amendments, preparation

January 24, RW 140: SEED 
selection, saving, planting, growing

January 31, RW 142: WEEDS & PESTS 
Biological control, prevention, mulch, companion planting

February 7, RW 140: PLANT PROPAGATION 
Vegetables, flowers, other plants

Attend all classes and receive a certification of completion!

Do you like FREE stuff and have a passion for reducing landfill waste by giving unused items away to those who need them? Well, come on down to the Free Store, a space where clothing and common household items are offered for FREE!

The Free Store is a store where each item is offered for free. The Free Store at the University of Toronto is an initiative that offers students, faculty, and the wider community an opportunity to take and exchange items at no cost. Youth Food Centre Weekly Community Meals

Join us every Wednesday (from January 16 to 30) for our Weekly Community Meal!
Come and enjoy some delicious food prepared with sustainably sourced ingredients. Students will participate and be part of the food prepping. This is a great opportunity to learn about our organization, be part of an amazing community, and enjoy some amazing food!

Location: Campus Co-Operative Residence 596 Spadina Ave.
Cost: Free and open to ALL Students
Time: 5:30 PM- 8:00 PM
Dates: January 16, 23 & 30

Schedule:
January 16: Spaghetti with marinara sauce from scratch, garlic bread, and a salad
January 23: Breakfast for dinner! (pancakes)
January 30: Healthy Mac & Cheese
