YUM! is organized by a local chapter of Regenesis, Regenesis York, a Canadian student-involved and community building environmental organization.

This indoor market operates at York University from September – April on a weekly basis every Wednesday from 11 am to 4 pm, apart from holidays, reading weeks and exam periods.

 
 
 

We are seeking vendors for the 2020-2021 season who align with our vision.
This may include:

  • Organic, local or sustainable farmers

  • Beekeepers

  • Social & environmental justice organizations and educators

  • Local, natural, organic or health-conscious foods

  • Vegetarian or vegan foods

  • Allergen-free prepared foods

  • Eco-friendly household goods

  • Local, sustainable, up-cycled or handmade crafts

  • Organic or natural personal care products

We are here to benefit both the community, be it residents, visitors, students, and our vendors, whether farmers, chefs, artisans or activists. We want to provide the access to a diverse selection of fresh & healthy, locally-grown, locally-made or locally-sourced, fairly-traded, natural and organic foods & products using a model that creates the least environmental impact, and reflects the diversity and values of the community.
