Welcoming Lauren Castelino, New Co-Executive Director

On behalf of Regenesis’ Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, we are thrilled to be welcoming Lauren Castelino to the Regenesis family as our new Co-Executive Director.

Lauren is a community leader, fundraising consultant and environmental entrepreneur. She is a 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leader, Urban Hero in the Environment and has received several certificates of recognition from politicians for her volunteer work. She is also a researcher working towards increasing equity and accessibility for young, marginalized, and francophone students in securing employment in the environmental field. 

“Having pursued social and environmental activism for half my life, I am incredibly humbled and honoured to be given this opportunity to make more of an impact for youth in the sustainability space. I have always been amazed with the work that Michael and the entire Regenesis team have undertaken to make on the ground environmental initiatives come to life. I am looking forward to contributing both my lived and work experiences, spreading our chapters across what is currently known as Canada, and incorporating intersectionality in all that we do.”

We are ecstatic to have Lauren join the team, and we’re looking forward to witnessing all that our team will achieve under her co-leadership!
